# Relationship Type

1. Users log in to the SIS website with the Super admin account.
2. On the menu bar, select the Data Dictionary => Select Student Data => Relationship Type function to display the Relationship Type screen.

* At the Relationship Type screen, users can search, add new, edit, and delete Relationship Type.

**Add new Relationship Type**

1. To add a new Relationship Type, users click the Add new button to display the Add new Relationship Type popup.

2. Enter Relationship Type information

* The user enters valid information into the Relationship Type ID, Relationship Type textboxes.
* After entering all information, the user clicks on the "Save" button to save the newly created information. The newly created Relationship Type information is displayed on the Relationship Type screen.

Note:

* Fields marked with "\*" cannot be left blank.

* Do not enter an existing Relationship Type ID. If the entered ID already exists, the system will display a message: "This ID already exist, please try another."

**Edit Relationship Type**

1. To edit Relationship Type information, users need to click on the "Edit" icon, then the Edit Relationship Type popup will appear with full information of that Relationship Type.

2. Make edits to Relationship Type information. After editing, click the "Save" button to save the newly edited information

**Delete Relationship** **Type**

1. To delete Relationship Type on the Relationship Type screen, users click the "Delete" icon.
2. Clicking on the "Delete" icon will display the Delete Relationship Type popup.

3. To confirm deletion, the user clicks on the "Delete" button. Successful deletion will display the message "Delete Successfully"

4. To close the delete popup, the user clicks the "Cancel" button.
